Born in Freising, Gschwendtner is now chef of the OLIVO since July 2018. He was awarded the first Michelin star of his career in the same year. His professional life already led him through considerable stations as the restaurant Bareiss or Lafer's Stromburg. Anton Gschwendtner was active as Chef Pâtissier and Sous Chef in the Atelier F. in Munich and until last as head chef of the Loft in Vienna where he received his first Michelin star.

In his former career he gathered experience in various star-rated restaurants and was working as autonomous sommelier. Alongside Anton Gschwendtner he will attend the guests of the gourmet restaurant tasting the new dishes and creates an overall perfect experience with his expertise.
